Footwear Friends at Lords on Wednesday, 9th June 2010.

A very full day at the world's most famous cricket ground.

We continue to provide our supporters with an oustanding combination of first class sport at world renowned venues in the company of our happy, close knot industry.

Last June, over fifty members of the Footwear Trade enjoyed a marvellous day at Lords. The word has spread widely and we have fielded many enquieries about 2010 - including some who wish to attend for a second time!

Here is the programme for the 9th June 2010 (timings are approximate):

10.15 - 10.45
Welcome by the MCC President. Coffee in the MCC's Tavern Restaurant.
11.00 - 13.00
A full tour of all aspects of the ground including Pavillion, Dressing Rooms, Museums, Libraries and Media Centre. This provided by MCC's own expert guides.
13.00 - 13.30
Visit to the Lords shop.
13.30 - 14.00
Time for a pint before lunch.
14.00 - 15.30
An excellent lunch in The MCC Tavern.
15.30 - 17.00
Time to spend with friends, further exploration of the ground or for shopping in St John's Wood.
17.00
Enjoy the quality and excitement of the 20/20 contents between Middlesex and Somerset in a top class Grandstand seat.

We encourage you to join us. Bring friends - male and female - trade and otherwise - no limit on how many. Price is £95 pp. Application form attached.

Please do not send payment with your application because full details - including invoice - will be sent nearer the date.

If you are unable to be with us because of holidays or a prior commitment, we will be disappointed but will understand. In that case, would you be kind enough to make a donation to Footwear Friends, the only Charity in the United Kingdom who cares for those who have worked or do work in the Footwear Industry and have hit rotten times.
